Tina Yancey

Blue House of Jewelry

If you’re looking for a friendly face on JHJ, someone with a sparkling personality who is always willing to lend a helping hand, then you need to connect with Tina Yancey.

Tina, who owns Blue House of Jewelry In Tyler, Texas. has had a passion for gemstones, diamonds and jewelry her entire life.  She told us whenever she goes on vacation, she is always more concerned with how many rocks she can carry back on board the plane, rather than the trip itself.

Tina Yancey

Tina loves everything about nature, especially the wondrous, mystical rocks that we can polish, cut and transform into wearable art, precious keepsakes, expressions of love and gifts that are given to show admiration.

Before opening her first jewelry store 15 years ago, Tina worked part time in a jewelry store … obviously a natural fit!  Currently her True Blue team of 3 is made up of Steve Neel, who is her GIA certified gemologist, Lacee Harris, who handles sales and as Tina says, “bunches of other stuff!” and herself.  Whatever Lacee and Steve don’t cover, Tina does, including merchandising, photography, design, sales, advertising, snacks, cleaning ,etc. etc. etc.!

Tina really enjoys what she does, and if she had one wish, it would be that she could increase her business enough so that she could pay her bills comfortably without cutting it so close every month.

Connect with Tina on JHJ for just about everything, including great advice on photographing jewelry, sales and marketing questions, selling unusual gemstones and general retail store advice.  She is always happy to help!
